About the book:
delige own a butler, make their choice of partner according to the “Gotha” and like to wear riding clothes in their free time. So far, so prejudice. But honestly – who knows what really goes on behind the walls of the Von-and-Zus? Christine Gräfin von Brühl dispels modern myths with charm and irony, telling of impoverished blue-bloods in two-room apartments, chilled castle dwellers without central heating, or thrifty princes. This literary castle tour reveals everything you always wanted to know about the nobility, but were never supposed to.
