Denis Scheck, born in 1964 in Stuttgart, now lives in Cologne. As an iterary translator and editor, he has been involved with authors such as Michael Chabon, William Gaddis and David Foster Wallace, Antje Ravic Strubel and Judith Schalansky. For a long time, he worked as a literary critic on the radio, and today he hosts the TV shows “Lesenswert” on SWR and “Druckfrisch” on ARD. His most recent book, “Schecks Kanon,” is a Spiegel bestseller.
